Monday - Friday

Early arrival is at 7:30am for students who have pre-registered. Students will enter the building through exit 1 and proceed to the auditorium.

Before you come in: phones go in pouches, and visitors make an appointment.

School Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy

Students will not be permitted to use or access their personal internet-enabled electronic devices upon arrival at school until the end of the school day, including during lunch.

Upon arrival, students must power off their devices.
Each student will receive a pouch that they will be responsible for while attending PS/IS 128.
In the event a student’s pouch is lost or damaged, the school will require a nominal fee of $15 to replace the pouch.

Visitor Policy

Please make an appointment before visiting the school building to meet with teachers, staff, or administrators. Call the school office at 718-326-6210 or email the staff member you would like to meet with.

Ring the intercom bell outside the main entrance, face the camera and state your name and purpose.
Sign in at the school safety desk with a photo ID.
Wear your visitor tag at all times in the building.
Staff will escort you to your meeting and back to the main entrance.

2025-2026 Mission Statement

PS/IS 128Q believes in taking a data-driven approach to addressing the academic and emotional needs of students and implementing SEL (Social Emotional Learning) in our daily practice. Data is used to provide students with scaffolding and differentiation across all subject areas to ensure that all learners successfully participate in rigorous and CRSE (Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education) activities.
